A strong performing US tax practice who are committed to growing out their business further are currently strengthening their trust tax team and are in need of an experienced manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of US trust tax compliance and planning.
  • Ensure complex returns are accurately reviewed.
  • Identify opportunities where we can assist clients with tax planning and provide bespoke tax advice.
  • Provide expert advice on US tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with UK and US tax teams to ensure accurate and efficient tax services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Current US CPA or Enrolled Agent
  • Proven experience in US trust tax management
  • 5-8 years of experience in US-UK tax compliance acquired in a similar role, ideally with a Big 4 or boutique firm, serving international clients
  • Knowledge of US trust issues, for example, preparing/reviewing Forms 3520/3520-A and preparing DNI/UNI trust tax accounts
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
