US Tax Manager

OverviewJoin a leading accountancy practice in the UK as a US Tax Manager providing you with great career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely filing of all US tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.

Provide expert advice on US tax matters to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

Keep abreast of changes in US tax law and regulations, and analyse their impact on clients\’ tax strategies.

Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimise clients\’ tax liabilities and maximise compliance.

Identify and mitigate tax-related risks associated with clients\’ business operations and financial transactions.

Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‐performing environment.

Continuously review and improve internal tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, legal counsel, and tax authorities, to resolve complex tax issues.

Contribute to the growth of the practice by identifying new business opportunities and participating in client pitches.

Prepare and present detailed reports on clients\’ tax positions and strategies to senior management and relevant committees.

Requirements

Accredited qualification in tax, such as EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent.

Proven experience in a US tax manager role, within an accountancy practice.

Strong understanding of US tax law and its application to UK‐based clients.

Exceptional analytical and problem‐solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to articulate complex tax concepts.
