Corporate Tax Consultant at a Big 4 firm in London or Glasgow. Join a team of 25 specialists working with institutional investors and managers. This team is part of the Investment Management and Reporting Team of 146 people in the UK.
This role consists of supporting UK/International traditional funds on their compliance and reporting obligations, as well as some ad-hoc advisory pieces.

Responsibilities and Duties
As a Consultant, you will be working alongside a growing team delivering compliance and some advisory services so clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Completion of investor tax reporting
- Handling various advisory projects related to investor reporting on an ad hoc basis.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant risk procedures during engagements, while also taking financial responsibility for these engagements.
- Contributing to client events at both the account level and within the broader team context.
Requirements
Candidates will ideally need to be ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent) current or past experience in practice. CTA is not so relevant. Those in Audit will find this a suitable transition into Tax.
Additional requirements include:
- A strong desire and motivation to progress within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in managing a portfolio of clients and projects, along with overseeing junior staff.
- Ability to work closely with clients, integrating practical and commercial insights into technical tasks.
- Knowledge of UK investor tax reporting experience gained from an in-house role within a financial institution or from an accountancy/legal/advisory firm is desirable.
- Knowledge of typical fund structures and the investor reporting implications associated is desirable.
