An established global financial technology firm is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Linux Infrastructure Engineer to oversee a distributed team supporting critical trading environments. This is a leadership role suited to someone who enjoys staying close to the technology, combining team management with hands-on technical involvement. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of a complex, high-availability infrastructure, while driving continuous improvements across tooling, processes, and team capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a globally distributed support function operating on a follow-the-sun model
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure support engineers across multiple regions
  • Ensure the resilience and uptime of trading systems and associated platforms
  • Define and enhance operational frameworks, standards, and service levels
  • Partner with engineering teams to drive automation, improve tooling, and reduce manual effort
