Ambition is partnered with a leading global accounting practice that is seeking to grow their restructuring advisory team by hiring a new Director specialized in the Financial Services sector. This role offers the opportunity to join a market-leading team with a sector focus on financial services. You will work on some of the most interesting and complex restructuring engagements in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners to prepare and pitch for new assignments.
- Create reports and recommendations for lenders and other stakeholders.
- Identify and develop opportunities for new work and support the creation of new products and services.
- Coach and mentor team members to help them reach their potential and deliver excellent client service.
- Apply technical knowledge effectively in individual assignments, demonstrating skill and efficiency in resolving client issues.
- Manage and motivate multiple teams, balancing demands on complex assignments while enhancing market presence.
- Lead and contribute to marketing efforts, including organizing and attending events, and preparing and delivering presentations.
Requirements
- Fully qualified chartered accountant.
- Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in a restructuring-focused role within an accounting or advisory firm.
- Experience managing projects such as independent business reviews, cash flow assessments, expedited sales, contingency planning, and executing insolvency appointments, including pre-packaged administrations.
