The Opportunity
You’ll join a well-established UK Private Client team that provides a wide range of advisory and personal tax compliance services to individuals and their family structures. In this role, you’ll predominantly support senior stakeholders while working with a growing portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth UK-based families. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional client service - combining technical expertise with a proactive and client-centric approach. You’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive high-quality, tailored advice that delivers real value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide tax advisory services to complex private client groups, including individuals, families, trusts, investment companies, and other structures.
- Manage a portfolio of compliance clients, including review responsibilities depending on your experience.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting engagement leads.
- Coordinate a full suite of services for clients, including accounts, payroll, and corporate tax compliance.
- Respond to client queries and liaise with external professionals such as lawyers, investment managers, and bankers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless and timely delivery of work.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Manage client budgeting and invoicing processes.
- Support and contribute to staff training and development.
- Build relationships through networking with intermediaries and professional contacts.
- Gain exposure to additional advisory areas such as forensic accounting and business valuation.

You’ll be part of a collaborative Private Client team advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth UK families on a broad range of tax matters - from annual compliance through to complex wealth structuring and succession planning. The team works across a variety of client needs, including personal tax, partnerships, trust structures, estates, landed estates, and corporate entities. This diversity of work ensures a dynamic and intellectually engaging environment. Supported by experienced senior professionals, the team emphasises high-quality, technology-enabled client service and strong collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent), or working towards a relevant qualification.
- Experience within a private client or professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, with broader advisory exposure being advantageous.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across a varied client portfolio.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and relationships at all levels.
