A growing and well-established insolvency and restructuring firm is looking to recruit an experienced
Senior Insolvency Administrator to join its busy Milton Keynes office.
Due to continued growth, an increasing caseload and internal team expansion, this is an excellent opportunity for an insolvency professional looking to work on a varied portfolio of complex corporate assignments while receiving full support towards professional qualifications.
The Opportunity
Working within an experienced and supportive team, you will manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, while assisting on a range of larger and more complex assignments.
Unlike many firms where work is heavily focused on straightforward liquidations, this role offers exposure to a broad mix of restructuring and insolvency appointments, including:
- Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
- Members' Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)
- Pre-pack administrations
- Trading administrations
- Complex insolvency cases involving director loan accounts and investigations
- Corporate restructuring assignments
The office regularly undertakes higher-value appointments, with administration cases often generating fees between £50,000 and £100,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from cradle to grave
- Preparing statutory reports and correspondence
- Liaising directly with directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders
- Assisting with investigations and asset realisations
- Supporting managers and partners on complex administrations
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Attending site visits and stakeholder meetings when required
About You
The successful candidate will have
- Previous experience working within corporate insolvency
- Strong CVL experience, ideally managing cases independently
- Exposure to administrations, although this is not essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Training & Development
The firm is committed to investing in its people and offers
- Full support towards CPI qualification
- Future support towards JIEB qualification
- Structured training and development
- Clear progression opportunities within a growing team
- Exposure to complex and high-quality insolvency work
- Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid role; however, due to the collaborative nature of the team and the complexity of the work, employees are generally expected to be in the office around four days per week.
As such, the position is best suited to candidates based within a reasonable commute of Milton Keynes.
Why Apply?
- Join a growing insolvency practice with ambitious expansion plans
- Work on complex and varied corporate insolvency assignments
