I am delighted to be partnered with a top US law firm in their search for a Senior Revenue Controller to join their London office. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revenue Controller looking for a step up to a senior role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure matters are billed as soon as commercially viable and in line with fee arrangements to maximise recovery and meet WIP cycle targets.
- Manage work-in-progress balances by monitoring WIP levels against original quotes and alerting Partners/Matter Managers to potential overruns.
- Collaborate with Partners, Matter Managers, PAs, and the Business Manager to drive timely billing of matters.
- Provide clients with regular fee updates and flag any out-of-scope work.
- Liaise with clients regarding billing details and requirements to avoid unnecessary bill reversals.
- Chase clients for outstanding billing details, such as PO numbers.
- Initiate new ideas to enhance client relationships by proactively contacting clients about billing requirements, adding value to the relationship.
- Act as a key contact for the eBilling team and attend regular update meetings.
- Identify potential problem areas and escalate issues to the Revenue Manager, including reviewing eBills in broker systems.
- Support Partners and Matter Managers by working closely with the Credit Controller to chase debts.
