An established and growing professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take on a highly visible role within a dynamic business.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will partner with operational and departmental leaders across the business, helping them understand key performance drivers and make informed financial decisions. You will join a high-performing finance function and contribute to the continued development of reporting, planning processes and commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department heads and senior stakeholders to understand financial performance and key business drivers
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for designated business areas
- Produce and analyse monthly management information, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Develop financial models and business cases to support growth initiatives
- Monitor departmental performance against budgets and forecasts
- Support the continual enhancement of management reporting and financial planning processes
- Contribute to finance transformation and ad hoc strategic projects
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualified experience
- Experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience handling large and complex data sets
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
