I am currently partnering with one of our Leading, Law Firm clients to assist with the search for an experienced

Senior Finance Process Analyst to join its finance operations team on a fixed-term contract.

This role offers a blend of operational support, process improvement, and project delivery responsibilities, supporting finance users across a global business.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between finance stakeholders and technology teams, helping to optimise systems, improve processes, and ensure effective day-to-day finance operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong systems knowledge who enjoys problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for finance systems and process-related queries.
  • Provide guidance to finance users on policies, procedures, and system functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, escalating where necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support and maintain core finance and matter management processes, ensuring operational effectiveness.
  • Perform data maintenance activities, validation checks, and user access administration.
  • Review and process authorisation requests in line with established governance and control frameworks.
  • Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with technology and business teams to support system enhancements and change initiatives.
  • Assist with testing, implementation, and user adoption of new processes and system developments.

Key Requirements

  • Experience within a finance function.
  • Experience supporting finance processes within a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of areas such as billing, e Billing, time recording, work-in-progress management, matter administration, or cash collection.
  • Experience working with enterprise finance systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
