As the Marketing & Business Development Senior Executive for Financial Markets (FM), you will be a core source of knowledge on the FM practice areas, ensuring marketing and business development activities are aligned, relevant, and strategically effective.

You will work closely with the M&BD Hub, FM stakeholders, and crossâsector teams to deliver campaigns, events, content, reporting, and client development initiatives. Team structure: a core team of three, supported by international colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Work with PR, digital, and events leads to identify and action opportunities that raise the FM IPG's profile.
- Contribute to creative content and collateral to support visibility.
- Support the development and delivery of thought leadership and strategic campaigns across the FM IPG.
- Prepare highâlevel reports for Practices & Markets, Sector teams, Client Managers, and regional teams.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and contribute to brainstorming on how the FM IPG can respond.
- Be familiar with the FM IPG BD plan and budget.
- Plan marketing and event activity with practice group heads.
- Ensure all spend follows budget approval processes and aligns with strategic objectives.
- Use InterAction CRM and coordinate tasks with the M&BD Hub.
- Ensure website and intranet content is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare first drafts, coordinate with feeâearners, submit entries, and support interview and research processes.
- Coordinate and execute FM events, both internal and clientâfacing, including thirdâparty collaborations.
- Support onboarding of new Partners into the FM IPG.
- Capture market insights, reputation feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Work with regional and sector teams to ensure international alignment and support IPG objectives.
- Coordinate with the Client Programme team and Client Partners.
- Ensure alignment between FM IPG activities and key client priorities.
- Drive the capture of Client Listening feedback.
- Support firmwide M&BD Leadership Team activities and complex crossâfunctional projects.
- Monitor spending, allocate budgets, challenge unplanned costs, and ensure strong financial discipline.
What Weâre Looking For
- Minimum 3 yearsâ experience in marketing or business development (professional services preferred)
- CIM diploma or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and quality focus
- Experience managing and motivating teams
- Able to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
