Working closely with the PR & Communications Manager and the wider marketing team, you'll play a key role in helping to raise the profile of the firm and its 450+ lawyers across traditional media, digital channels, and social platforms. You'll be hands-on from day one, gaining exposure to high-quality work, learning from experienced professionals, and developing a broad communications skillset.
This role would suit a proactive, creative and organised self-starter who thrives in a busy environment, works well to deadlines, and is genuinely enthusiastic about communications. It's ideal for someone early in their career who is keen to develop in marketing or PR and grow within a firm that offers clear scope for development and progression.
What you'll be doing:
- Collating the firm's press coverage and sharing updates with key stakeholders.
- Maintaining and updating media lists using a media database.
- Managing the PR team's coverage tracker and producing monthly reports.
- Working closely with the Senior PR & Communications Executive to identify and support PR opportunities.
- Collaborating with the wider marketing team to maintain a content calendar and generate creative ideas for engaging content.
- Formatting articles and other content into house-style PDFs for lawyers to share.
- Coordinating content and assisting in the production of our internal magazine.
- Drafting and scheduling social media posts, including creating imagery (training on Canva and InDesign will be provided).
- Supporting social media performance tracking and reporting alongside the Digital Marketing Executive.
- Monitoring Google/Trustpilot and creating social media images for 5* reviews.
- Assisting with email marketing campaigns, including list management and monthly performance reporting.
- Uploading content to the firm's website using the CMS (full training will be provided).
- Drafting and uploading website profiles for junior lawyers.
- Attending firm and external events to capture content for social media channels when required.
- Supporting the marketing team with ad hoc tasks as required.
What we're looking for:
- 1+ years' experience in a similar communications, PR or marketing role (graduates with work placement experience will also be considered).
- Someone who reads/follows the news and keeps up to date with current affairs.
- Someone who is up to date with social media trends.
- Outstanding written skills and a passion for creative writing.
- A creative mindset and enthusiasm for producing compelling content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Some familiarity with Canva and InDesign is desirable, but not essential (training provided).
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the London office and external venues.
