I am working with a leading global law firm on an exciting opportunity for a Head of Business Development & Marketing to join their team in London, supporting their highly regarded Debt Finance practice. This is a genuinely strategic role within a global BD function, working closely with senior stakeholders, partners and lawyers across the region and internationally. You'll have real ownership of the BD agenda for the product, helping to identify opportunities, drive revenue and shape how the practice is positioned in the market.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing and delivering strategic BD and marketing plans aligned to wider firm objectives
  • Working closely with partners and lawyers to identify, develop and convert revenue-generating opportunities
  • Leading client targeting and market development activity across the region and globally
  • Identifying market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
  • Supporting significant pitches, RFPs and client opportunities
  • Driving cross-selling and collaboration across products and client relationships
  • Leading client events, conferences, sponsorships and other profile-raising initiatives
  • Overseeing directory and awards submissions and supporting thought leadership
  • Working closely with communications, brand and knowledge teams on marketing initiatives
  • Acting as a key strategic adviser to partners and senior stakeholders

You’ll need previous BD experience within professional services, ideally from a law firm, with a strong understanding of the legal market and a genuine interest in the Debt Finance space.
