We are partnering with a highly regarded international law firm with a strong global footprint. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced legal eBilling Analyst to join their London-based Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible, internationally focused role with regular interaction across multiple business areas.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth and accurate operation of eBilling activities across a multi-jurisdictional environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure billing processes run efficiently, while contributing to ongoing enhancements within the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full eBilling cycle, from invoice preparation through to submission and resolution of queries
- Review and manage invoice rejections, ensuring prompt investigation and resubmission
- Maintain and update billing data across finance systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and matters onto eBilling platforms
- Prepare, validate and submit LEDES files in line with client requirements
- Build effective working relationships with fee earners, finance teams and external vendors
- Deliver guidance and support to stakeholders on eBilling processes and system use
- Produce and analyse reporting to monitor performance and identify trends
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce rejection rates
About You
- Proven experience as a legal e-biller within a law firm or LLP environment
- At least 18 months' experience in a billing or revenue‑focused role
- Strong working knowledge of eBilling systems and third‑party vendor platforms
- Familiarity with LEDES formats and billing compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across finance systems (Elite 3E advantageous)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Well organised, detail‑focused and proactive in approach
