I am currently partnering with one of our longstanding Law Firm clients to assist with the recruitment of a Cashier Team Leader, on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the main escalation point for clientâaccount queries and providing guidance to cashiering staff.
- Coordinating and monitoring all activity flowing through the clientâaccount mailbox to ensure timely handling of requests.
- Managing the full lifecycle of clientâaccount transactions, including reconciliations, checks, and the production of required financial reports.
- Reviewing and approving payments and receipts through the firm's banking systems.
- Upholding strict adherence to SRA Accounts Rules, documenting any breaches accurately and escalating where necessary.
- Leading, coaching, and supporting team members, ensuring workloads are balanced and service levels are met.
- Identifying process gaps or inefficiencies and driving improvements to enhance accuracy and operational performance.
- Assisting with the preparation of materials for external audits and collating information requested by auditors.
Key Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a seniorâlevel legal cashiering role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial processes.
- Strong working knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
- Confident use of Excel and the ability to work with financial data effectively.
