We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic, forward-thinking law firm with an impressive roster of high-profile clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BD professional or someone ready to step up into a managerial role.

You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the firm’s Corporate Practice and driving growth in the Retail & Leisure sector. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll influence strategy, lead innovative initiatives, and help position the firm for continued success in competitive markets.

What’s involved:

  • Drive strategic business development for Corporate Transaction Services, IP & Commercial, and Employment & Immigration teams.
  • Lead firmwide initiatives for the Retail & Leisure sector, including thought leadership campaigns, events, and targeted growth strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with Partners, providing trusted advice and coaching to enhance BD performance.
  • Oversee key projects such as pitch and tender processes, client development programmes, and cross-practice collaboration.
  • Manage and mentor a BD Assistant, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What’s needed:

  • Proven BD experience within professional services (law firm experience is a plus).
  • Confidence and gravitas to influence at senior levels.
  • Creative, proactive, and commercially minded approach.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with a track record of delivering successful BD strategies.
