We're working with a highly regarded advisory firm that is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to support the continued growth of its Debt Advisory offering. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded individual to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial team and gain exposure to the UK business finance market.
This role supports multiple offices across Maidenhead, London, Maidstone and Gatwick, so candidates should be comfortable travelling between sites. Access to a car will therefore be required.
The Role
You'll play a key role in driving new business activity, strengthening relationships and supporting the firm's growth strategy within Debt Advisory. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll gain hands-on exposure across business development, marketing and live deal activity, making this an ideal position for someone looking to build a long-term career within advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the generation and development of new business opportunities for the Debt Advisory team, contributing to pipeline growth across both new and existing clients.
- Conduct market and sector research to identify target businesses, introducers and funding opportunities, and support outbound business development activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, introducers and internal stakeholders, while attending networking events and client meetings.
- Assist with the creation of pitches, proposals and marketing materials, alongside supporting campaigns, events and thought leadership activity.
- Provide support across live opportunities, including preparing documentation, coordinating internal discussions and ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline reporting and introducer records, tracking activity and supporting overall business development performance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales or a commercially focused role.
- Exposure to professional services, financial services or commercial finance is advantageous.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, commercially aware and keen to build a career in advisory.
- Experience using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
