Principal Consultant - Senior Legal BD, Marketing & Communications Recruitment
I'm currently working with an international law firm who is hiring for a talented Marketing & Business Development Manager to support its highly regarded Structured Finance & Derivatives practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team and work closely with senior partners on strategic growth initiatives across a market-leading practice.
The Role
Reporting into the senior BD leadership team, you will play a key role in driving business development and marketing activity across the practice, including:
- Developing and delivering BD and marketing plans aligned to strategic objectives
- Partnering with lawyers and partners to identify and pursue growth opportunities
- Leading on pitches, proposals and panel appointments
- Supporting key client relationship and account management initiatives
- Delivering profile-raising campaigns, thought leadership and events
- Identifying market trends, opportunities and competitor activity
- Working collaboratively with international colleagues on cross-border initiatives
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong business development and marketing experience within legal or professional services
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing pitches and client development programmes
- A commercial and strategic mindset, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
