This is a pivotal position at the helm of a growing global social media function, reporting directly to the Director of External Communications. Working as part of a collaborative international team, you'll coordinate closely with digital communications colleagues across Asia, Australia, and the US to deliver compelling content and a cohesive digital communications strategy across the globe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the firm's global social media strategy, covering organic and paid content, leadership channels, practitioner training, and employee advocacy.
- Own the EMEA content calendar, taking end-to-end responsibility for planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing high-quality content aligned to strategic priorities.
- Advise on social media best practice and produce compelling owned and paid content as part of wider marketing and communications initiatives, including thought leadership, corporate news, and brand-building activity.
- Track and report on channel performance, analysing monthly trends and campaign impact to drive continuous improvement in digital communications.
- Manage external agency relationships, including briefing and developing content and paid media strategies for the EMEA region.
- Develop and manage an effective employee advocacy strategy to maximise brand awareness and engagement across the EMEA team.
- Partner with the wider global digital communications function to ensure messaging consistency, brand voice, and strategic alignment across all regions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in digital communications or social media, with a track record of both strategic counsel and hands-on execution.
- Proven experience developing, delivering, and reporting on social media strategies and processes.
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn and experience training others on social media, with a genuine focus on building and maintaining an engaged audience.
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging digital content at pace.
- Hands-on experience with social media scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Oktopost, Sprinklr).
- Solid sub-editing and proofreading skills, with confidence working to brand and tone-of-voice guidelines.
- Experience managing agency relationships and leading social media for multi-channel campaigns spanning email, PR, PPC, and display.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated cultural awareness across global, cross-regional teams.
