Are you a driven audit professional ready to take ownership of your work and make a genuine impact within a growing practice?

Our client is a well-established, full-service accountancy firm with a strong national presence and international reach. They are looking for an Audit Senior, either qualified or part-qualified, to join their Audit & Assurance team in Gatwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a genuinely varied client portfolio, from ambitious international groups to large, established corporates, all while developing your career in a people-first, technically excellent environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing work produced by junior team members and offering clear, constructive feedback
  • Coaching and supporting junior colleagues in their day-to-day development
  • Leading audit fieldwork conducted both remotely and on client sites, making full use of available technology and digital tools
  • Working collaboratively with the wider audit team, reporting directly to an Audit Manager
  • Building strong working relationships with clients to consistently deliver a high-quality, professional service

What We're Looking For

  • ACA qualified, or actively working towards ACA or ACCA qualification with the professional or applied skills stage completed
  • At least 18 to 24 months' experience in Audit and Assurance within a UK accountancy practice
  • Proven experience leading external audit assignments from fieldwork through to completion, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
  • Solid working knowledge of preparing accounts under UK GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior colleagues and clients
  • A self-motivated and collaborative working style, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively
  • Full UK work eligibility, without restrictions

Nice to Have

  • Experience using cloud-based or dedicated audit management software
  • Familiarity with structured, methodology-led audit frameworks

Why Join

  • A competitive benefits package including private medical cover, pension matching, and enhanced parental leave
  • Dedicated career development support, including learning programmes and career coaching
