We're working with a prestigious international law firm seeking an experienced Proposals Manager to join its high-performing business development team. This is a strategically important position supporting a globally recognised practice area, with responsibility for leading some of the firm's most significant and complex pitches and proposals.
You'll partner closely with senior lawyers, partners and business services teams across multiple jurisdictions, taking ownership of the full proposal lifecycle from initial strategy through to submission. This is a highly visible role offering excellent stakeholder exposure, international collaboration and the opportunity to shape how the firm approaches winning new business.
The Role
- Lead high-value, complex and multi-jurisdictional proposals and pitches
- Manage end-to-end RFP and tender processes
- Develop compelling, client-focused proposal content
- Advise and coach senior stakeholders throughout the pitch lifecycle
- Drive proposal best practice, innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with BD, pricing, knowledge and document production teams globally
- Support win/loss reviews and use insights to improve future success rates
About You
- Proven experience managing proposals or pitches within legal or wider professional services
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
- A commercial mindset and passion for creating winning proposals
- Experience operating in an international, matrix-style environment would be highly advantageous
