A leading top‑10 accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a commercially strong Business Development Director to drive growth across London and the South East. This is an exciting time to join the business, with a newly established team based from the Tunbridge Wells office, with regular travel across London and the wider South East.
This role is ideal for someone with deep Business Development experience within a professional services environment (accountancy, consulting, legal, financial advisory, or similar) and a proven ability to originate, convert, and nurture revenue‑generating opportunities.
The OpportunityThe Business Development Director will play a key role in shaping regional growth, with responsibilities including:
- Originating new business opportunities across the region
- Leading the full sales process from first engagement through to conversion
- Building strong market relationships to enhance brand presence
- Researching and prioritising target clients to develop a high‑quality pipeline
- Working closely with Partners and service line teams to develop compelling proposals
- Managing and reporting on KPIs, pipeline performance, and conversion metrics
