We are recruiting on behalf of our Top 25 Accountancy firm client, one of the Southwest's largest independent chartered accountancy and business advisory practices with over 600 professionals across Gloucestershire, Bristol, and Cardiff. Their Bristol-based Audit team is growing, and they are seeking an Audit Senior to support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit planning and fieldwork for your own client portfolio, gaining full end-to-end audit exposure
  • Prepare high-quality, fully compliant financial statements
  • Review the work of junior team members to ensure audit objectives are met
  • Apply client insights to anticipate, address, and resolve complex and interesting issues
  • Assist with the management, motivation, and development of the audit team

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA fully qualified
  • Experience working within an Audit team in a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong project management skills, including decision-making, analysis, organisation, and time management
  • Well-developed supervisory skills, including coaching and motivating junior team members
