Audit Assistant Manager – Listed Clients
Ambition is currently collaborating with a Top 10 ranked audit firm seeking an Audit Assistant Manager for their corporate audit team.
In this role, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients, from large listed corporates to privately owned companies. One of the highlights of this team is the variety of experiences you will encounter. You will play a crucial role in advising smaller clients who may lack established structures, while also working with large corporates and listed businesses, including FTSE, LSE, and AIM listed clients.

Duties include:
- Prior to the assignment:
- Attending pre-assignment discussions with the audit team.
- Responsible for allocating work to junior members of the audit team.
- Provide on-the-job training to junior members of staff, review their work and provide feedback.
- Work to plan and budget.
- Advise the manager.
- Suggest logical solutions to problems.
- Detailed assignment memorandum incorporating appropriate analytical review.
- Clear manager and partner review points and follow up on any outstanding queries.
- Respond to client queries and concerns in an efficient and professional manner, dealing directly with senior management where necessary.
- Provide advice to clients and demonstrate knowledge of business issues.
- Provide a detailed analysis of time charged on every assignment to facilitate billing and future planning.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
- External auditing experience required, particularly in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Right to work as sponsorship cannot currently be provided for this role.
