Are you organised, people‑focused and ready to make a difference? Join Ambition Institute as our new Faculty Planning and Events Associate on a 12 month fixed‑term contract. You’ll work as part of a team responsible for planning and scheduling all events, conferences and one‑to‑one sessions across our programme suite, and will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of events and activities across our programmes to help teachers and school leaders keep getting better.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Support event scheduling and facilitator allocations.
- Help deliver high‑quality online and in‑person events.
- Support key administrative tasks including finance processes, record keeping and coaching support.
- Use technology platforms such as TimeEdit, Salesforce, Business Central, SUMO, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Lead on team projects such as newsletters and internal handbooks.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Faculty Planning Senior Associate. You’ll be expected to be in the office at least one day a month, in addition to team days; this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Passionate about supporting educators serving children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Experience delivering outstanding customer service.
- Clear and confident communicator with a range of people.
- Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable and keen to find solutions.
- Independent and effective team member.
- Confident in using Microsoft applications and quick to learn new systems.
Experience with Salesforce, Business Central and Zoom is an advantage, but not essential.
