The role focuses on the accurate processing of corporate action events, execution of client instructions, and timely settlement delivery, with an emphasis on service quality, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. The position also involves contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Process, review, and authorize income and voluntary corporate action events
- Analyze information received from depositories and external parties
- Ensure payments and event-related activities are completed within required timelines
- Liaise with counterparties to resolve reconciliation issues and clarify event details
- Perform cash and securities reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Respond to and manage client inquiries, including complex cases
- Escalate issues appropriately and provide updates to management
- Participate in audits, corrective action plans, and project initiatives
- Support system enhancements, procedural updates, and cross-functional coverage
- 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally within securities services or payments
