A fast-growing, ambitious accountancy firm with a strong reputation in the SME market is seeking an Audit Senior to join its high-performing Oxford office. Following recent investment and the appointment of a new CEO, the firm is entering an exciting growth phase. The Oxford team is a key part of that growth, having recently won industry recognition and continuing to expand its client base.
The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, working with a varied portfolio of SME clients. This role offers a high level of responsibility and exposure, making it ideal for someone looking to step up and develop their career in a supportive, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning through to completion
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of SME clients (£10m-£100m turnover)
- Supervise and support junior team members
- Prepare and review statutory accounts
- Liaise directly with clients and senior stakeholders
About You
You will be an experienced auditor currently operating at Semi-Senior or Senior level, with strong exposure to full audit cycles.
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with 2-3 exams remaining)
- Proven experience leading audits end-to-end
- Experience working with SME clients
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
