Overview: The Senior Business Development Manager will be an integral member of the Marketing, Business Development and Communications (MBD&C) team.
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development - Disputes, the role involves providing strategic support and direction to the global IP Litigation group.
The role encompasses a full spectrum of marketing and BD activities, including pitches, events, directories, campaigns, thought leadership, and other profile-raising activities.
Define and drive a cohesive BD strategy with a focus on increasing collaboration and cross-selling.
Act as an internal consultant and coach to partners on the execution of their BD plans.
Identify new business development opportunities and formulate tactical plans.
Assess marketing and BD activities for ROI and influence decisions on budget allocation.
Provide training on business development skills to associates within the group.
Coach and mentor BD team members aligned to the IP Litigation practice group globally.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the BD team and attorneys.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Significant relevant business development, marketing, and/or CRM experience.
Enthusiasm to develop an in-depth understanding of the global IP litigation market.
Politically astute with the ability to anticipate future areas of risk.
