This amazing law firm are looking for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join their Finance team in this newly created position. This role acts as a business partner and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, with the primary objective of optimising profitability at a client level. You will add commercial value through financial analysis, pricing best practices, and supporting strategic initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing best practice processes to support finance colleagues across the network.
- Manage a portfolio of clients from a commercial perspective; advise on value-add options beyond rates.
- Maintain pricing models used across the business.
- Conduct financial analysis for client pitches, onboarding, and ongoing client management.
- Maintain and improve client and rate information in commercial databases and finance systems.
- Produce commercial reporting to support long-term profitability goals.
- Assist with operational improvement projects focusing on data analysis and process optimisation.
- Respond to pricing and commercial queries, introducing structure and automation where possible.
- Review commercial terms for new and existing client arrangements to ensure strategic alignment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex issues to financial and non-financial audiences.
- Methodical approach to solving complex problems; adaptable and collaborative team player.
