Partnerships Tax Manager in London

Job Description This impressive, global law firm are looking for a Partnership Tax Manager to join a high-performing finance and tax function. Working closely with the Head of Partnership Tax and Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering partnership tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services. This position is ideal for a qualified tax professional with strong partnership tax expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience operating within a professional services environment. As Partnership Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the preparation of partnership tax computations and including basis period reform requirements. Supporting year-end tax provisioning and the preparation of partners' capital accounts. Overseeing day-to-day partnership tax compliance activities, including tax payments and correspondence with HMRC. Preparing reconciliations and journals and supporting the annual audit process. Assisting with international tax compliance matters, including overseas branch and partnership reporting requirements. Contributing to a variety of partnership and tax-related projects. Assisting in the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to partners and senior stakeholders. Supporting the wider tax team during peak compliance periods. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external advisers and HMRC. Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and the adoption of tax technology solutions. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification. At least 4-5 years' post-qualified experience in a professional services or partnership-focused tax environment. Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation and related compliance requirements. Strong accounting and reconciliation experience, including journal preparation and financial reporting support. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation and reporting tools.
