We are representing a reputable law firm in London that is seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant. This role is essential for supporting the firm's marketing and business development team, contributing to various initiatives that enhance the firm's presence and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Assist in compiling and cross-referencing legal directory submissions, reviewing, formatting, and drafting documents and emails.
  • Event Support: Prepare for events, including creating name badges and promotional materials, and assist with client registration and greeting at firm events.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update contact lists, manage data, and produce the firm's monthly newsletter in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Administrative Support: Book meetings, manage diaries, and handle room bookings for the marketing and business development team.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct venue research for events, support the events committee, and carry out competitor analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Social Media and Communications: Assist in producing social media posts for the firm's LinkedIn account and maintain key resources on the internal intranet site.
  • Reporting: Collate website traffic statistics and attendance statistics following events and thought leadership publications.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Effective organisational skills and strong time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients.
