Financial Accountant in London

An amazing US law firm are looking of an experienced Financial Accountant who is moving from Practice into a law firm. They have a very close-knit finance team where they really look after their staff. They are seeking a highly skilled individual to take ownership of statutory financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities. Responsibilities in this Financial Accountant position – Preparing and overseeing statutory accounts for LLPs, property companies, and dormant subsidiaries. Managing corporate tax computations and VAT returns. Leading statutory audit processes and liaising with professional advisors. Monitoring regulatory, financial, and tax changes that impact the business. Driving improvements in systems and processes, including adopting AI solutions where applicable. Supporting ad hoc projects and reporting requirements. What We\’re Looking For ACA/ACCA qualified with 4 years PQE , ideally from a Practice background . Deep and current knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP , including upcoming changes (e.g., IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 adoption) and LLP SORP. Recent experience preparing financial statements under UK GAAP. Strong technical expertise combined with excellent analytical and reconciliation skills. Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach. Awareness of SRA client account rules is advantageous. Why Join them?
