My client, a highly reputable, international Law Firm are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their Finance function on a 12 month fixed term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining transactions in the firm\’s client and office account cashiering function. Key Responsibilities: Prompt recording and allocation of bill receipts received from the firm\’s clients. Prompt identification of client money received into the office account and liaising with partners to ensure that the necessary steps are carried out to ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules. Providing cover for client account receipts, payments, transfers and interest calculations Dealing with queries relating to client account transactions and balances Key requirements: Legal cashiering experience. Education to an A-Level standard or equivalent, minimum requirement GCSE standard depending on career experience. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and others at work. Works effectively as part of a team. Enthusiastic, works well under pressure, adapts to change and is willing to improve.
