My law firm client are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support their global Finance function and help drive efficiency through technology. This is a newly created position due to growth of the firm. About the Role As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance systems and delivering ongoing improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Financial Systems, this position involves user support, system administration, project work, development and testing, change control, and documentation. Key Responsibilities Act as an administrator for finance systems including Aderant Expert, eBilling Hub, and BillFiler. Manage, maintain, and provide technical ownership of practice management systems, their SQL environment, and related customizations. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and collaborate on analysis, development, testing, and implementation. Provide support to fee earners, secretaries, HR, BD, and finance staff. Assist with upgrades, patches, and fixes. Support Finance and IT projects and ensure systems are up to date. Perform quality assurance throughout systems development. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document processes. Work with third-party providers and IT teams to resolve issues. Create ad-hoc reports and execute T-SQL scripts and stored procedures. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise 5 years of experience working with accounting systems, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong SQL/SSRS skills and ability to run queries independently. Experience with Aderant Expert is desirable. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels. High levels of discretion and confidentiality. Team player with flexibility and a proactive approach.
