Reporting to: Head of Business Development

Our client, a law firm with an international reach, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Client & Marketing team. The BDM will act as a strategic advisor to the lead partners for the Tech sector and International group, focusing on areas such as AI, TMT, Digital Transformation.

Please note, experience in Business Development in a law firm/ professional services is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to lead partners, managing a BD Executive based in Dublin.
  • Develop and implement market strategies, client care, business development, and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the wider Client & Marketing team and other operations teams to deliver effective strategies, planning, and reporting.
  • Maintain deep market and service knowledge, undertaking market trend analysis and competitor benchmarking.
  • Develop and execute sector and international strategies in line with firm strategy.
  • Monitor financials, bid win/loss rates, and marketing effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Drive client retention and development, new business development, and profile raising activities.
  • Manage budget and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure legal compliance, including GDPR.
