Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Beaconsfield, and they're looking for an ambitious and motivated Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a varied and rewarding role, offering hands-on exposure to a diverse client portfolio across both audit and accounts work. You'll be joining a collaborative, supportive environment where your progression is taken seriously and your contributions are recognised from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the planning and completion of audit assignments across a range of clients
- Supporting the preparation of accounts in line with UK accounting standards
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Working alongside senior members of the team, contributing to shared assignments and building your technical knowledge
- Developing your client-facing skills and growing your confidence across a variety of engagements
What We're Looking For
- Around 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
- Certificate Level qualified, with 4 or more Professional Level exams passed (ACA or ACCA)
- A solid grounding in both audit and accounts work within a practice setting
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for continued learning and development
- Good communication skills and a willingness to engage confidently with clients
Nice to Have
- Candidates with more years of experience who are not yet fully exam-qualified are warmly encouraged to apply
- Individuals with strong practical audit and accounts experience who are looking to formalise or continue their studies will also be considered
