They're looking for an Audit Senior to join their team and play a central role in delivering high-quality audit work across a varied client portfolio.

This is a role where you'll be trusted to take ownership, apply your own judgement, and genuinely grow - both technically and as a leader within your team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical audit procedures, typically on-site at client premises.
  • Taking responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments from initiation through to sign-off.
  • Ensuring audit files are appropriately and sufficiently documented in line with required standards.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements from client data.
  • Identifying and communicating high-level risk areas and key matters of concern to the relevant Partner or Manager.
  • Planning the execution and finalisation of audit engagements ready for Partner/Manager review.
  • Supporting, coaching, and motivating junior colleagues as they develop through their own career journeys.

What We're Looking For

  • ACCA or ACA qualified, or working towards final qualification.
  • Solid, demonstrable experience in external audit, gained within a practice environment.
  • Comfortable managing your own workload and working confidently on-site at client premises.
  • Strong attention to detail when preparing and reviewing audit files and financial statements.
  • A collaborative working style, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
  • Sound professional judgement, with confidence to escalate risk and key findings appropriately.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
  • Exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors.
