Our client is a well-regarded boutique accountancy practice based in Henley, delivering high-quality audit, accountancy, and taxation services to a varied client base.
With a strong reputation built on expert knowledge and close client relationships, the practice is now looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join their growing audit department.
This is a substantive, visible role within a close-knit team.
You won't be lost in a large firm structure.
Instead, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues, take genuine ownership of your work, and play an active part in the ongoing development of the department.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting audit testing at client sites, applying professional scepticism and sound technical judgement throughout each engagement
- Upholding audit quality standards in line with UK Audit Regulations and internal firm policies
- Preparing statutory accounts and drafting tax computations
- Managing your own workload against agreed deadlines and budgets, including identifying, researching, and resolving accounting and audit queries
- Working closely with the Audit Senior and Audit Manager to deliver high-quality, well-coordinated engagements
- Taking a proactive approach to your own continuing professional development through training and hands-on experience
- Delivering consistently strong client service across all interactions
What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified ICAEW xgikmsk (ACA), having completed at least the first year of professional examinations
- A minimum of one year's experience working within an accountancy practice
- A solid working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), with the confidence to apply this in a practical setting
- Familiarity with audit and statutory accounts software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues
