The Opportunity
As the face of the firm's SME and Private Business proposition across the West Midlands, you will:
- Win and develop new audit relationships across the region.
- Build a strong network of business owners, CFOs, Finance Directors, and professional intermediaries.
- Generate and convert opportunities through relationship-led business development.
- Collaborate across Tax, Advisory, Deals, and teams to deliver a fully integrated client offering.
- Become a visible and influential figure within the regional business community.
- Help shape the firm's long-term growth strategy in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across the SME and private business market.
- Building a strong pipeline of audit opportunities through networking, referrals, introductions, and market engagement.
- Establishing yourself as a recognised figure within the West Midlands business community.
- Collaborating with specialist teams across tax, deals, private client, outsourcing, technology, and advisory services.
- Being a visible and influential leader in the regional market.
- Championing a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Helping shape the future direction and growth strategy of the Midlands business.
About You
- An Audit Partner or Director with a strong commercial mindset.
- Naturally relationship-led and business development focused.
- Well connected within the private business and OMB marketplace.
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and motivated by growth.
- Comfortable leading conversations with owners, entrepreneurs, and senior decision-makers.
- Someone who enjoys building rather than inheriting.
