Role Overview
The day to day duties of the role will be programming, setting and operating CNC turners and ideally borers. This is a high skilled role with a lot of precision one-off work. You will be self‑inspecting your own work.
Pay & Shift Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime available)
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Saturday: Overtime 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Programming CNC turners and borers
- Setting up machines
- Operating CNC machinery
- Performing self‑inspection of finished work
Required Skills and Experience
- Apprentice trained
- Experience of heavy machining (essential)
- Programming with Siemens and Fanuc controls
- Overhead crane experience preferable
- Ability to read engineering drawings
