Ambitek are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HDPE Pipefitter / Fusion Welder to join an ongoing project in Northwich, supporting the redevelopment of a disused Biomass Plant.
Location: Northwich, Cheshire
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3-week trial (with potential for 3–6 months ongoing work)
Role Overview
This position will focus on the installation and on-site fusion welding of HDPE pipework, working on straight runs installed mainly on pipe bridges.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Installation of HDPE pipework on site
- Fusion welding HDPE lines ranging from 1” up to 10”
- Working safely and efficiently to site requirements
- Use of HDPE fusion welding machines and associated equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in HDPE fusion welding (essential)
- Confident using HDPE fusion welding machines
- Valid SCATTS or CSCS or CCNSG or EMSS card (required)
Working Hours
07:30 – 16:00
Some Saturday overtime available
