Key Responsibilities – CNC Turner
- Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Follow offline programming, tooling sheets, and machining instructions
- Download CNC programs and save proven files once parts are inspected
- Operate manual machining centres where applicable
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and minimise waste
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings accurately
- Change tool inserts and adjust offsets to meet drawing specifications and tolerances
- Monitor quality and productivity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow written instructions, safe working practices, and maintain a tidy work area
- Report any quality, safety, or machine issues to your supervisor or line manager
