Ambitek is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Project Support professional to join our client’s dynamic team. This is a crucial support role working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the efficient delivery of heavy fabrication projects. Please note: this is not a hands-on or tools-based position—the focus is on coordination and support within a workshop setting. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of workshop-based fabrication projects. * Serve as a key liaison between project management and workshop teams to ensure deadlines, specifications, and quality standards are consistently met. * Manage project documentation, estimsting, update schedules, and report on progress. * Assist in resource planning and help streamline workflow processes. * Contribute to estimating and costing as required. * Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and internal operational procedures. Requirements: * Demonstrable experience in a heavy fabrication or similar industrial environment. * Must come from a steel background to ensure technical familiarity. * Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively. * Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Comfortable in a fast-paced, workshop-based office environment focused on coordination, not physical fabrication work
