Ambitek is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Winsford, who are looking to expand their team with several skilled Time Served Fabricators/Platers.
The Role
You’ll be working with 20mm – 40mm thick plate in a structural steel environment. From interpreting technical drawings to producing high-quality components, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and exceeding production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating components from 20mm – 40mm plate
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Using a variety of tools and equipment in a structural steel setting
- Delivering work to a consistently high standard within given timeframes
What We’re Looking For
- Time Served with a strong background in structural steel fabrication
- Proven experience working with thick plate materials
- Ability to work independently from technical drawings and specifications
- Willingness to complete and pass a trade test before starting
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 7:45am – 12:45pm (early finish!)
Pay Rates (CIS or Umbrella)
- Basic: £23.09 per hour
- Overtime: £31.44 per hour (after 39 hours)
