Ambitek is currently recruiting for experienced Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client’s busy fabrication team in Winsford. This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent rates and consistent work for reliable and qualified welders. Key Responsibilities: * MIG welding of structural steel beams and end-plates. * Use of solid wire MIG in the down-hand position. * Perform 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet welds, including start/stop operations. * Work to engineering drawings and welding specifications. * Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards. Requirements: * Proven experience in structural MIG welding (preferably in a fabrication shop). * Ability to complete a 10mm multi-run T-joint fillet weld to a high standard. * Must pass a trade test prior to starting. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Local candidates only – accommodation is not provided. Working Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45 * Friday: 07:45 – 12:45 * Overtime available after 39 hours at enhanced rate
