Responsibilities
- Assemble skip hooks to vehicle chassis following detailed engineering drawings
- Carry out modifications and adjustments as required to ensure correct fit and functionality
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation tasks
- Work safely and accurately to meet quality and production standards
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve deadlines and maintain efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with vehicle fitting, chassis assembly, or heavy mechanical systems
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to modify and adapt components where necessary
- Must have own tools
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 11:45
Overtime available
Pay Rates
PAYE: £16.50 per hour
Umbrella: £21.00 per hour
