Our client is a market leader within their field. They are looking to recruit a TIG welder/fabricator to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meet deadlines.
- Review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
- Perform welding/plating activities.
- TIG welding of Aluminium.
- Fabricate sheet metal.
- Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
- Ensure production timings are met/exceeded.
- Follow company rules and adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards.
- Work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation/quality requirements.
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts.
- Support the Production Manager with Quality Checks and obtain sign off.
- Maintain work records to support the client handover.
- Carry out and record daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and safety checks.
- Liaise directly with the production manager/external engineers to solve any issues with the machines and organise engineer visits to rectify problems.
- Operate in accordance with the provided RAMs and complete Dynamic Risk assessments as and when required.
