Our client is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters for site-based work across Trafford Park and Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy project with consistent hours and overtime available.
Job Details
- Location: Manchester (Trafford Park) & Warrington
- Duration: Minimum 6 weeks
- Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:00
- Overtime: Available (project-dependent), with upcoming shutdowns scheduled for end of April / early May
Pay Rates (LTD / CIS / Umbrella)
- Basic: £24.05 per hour (Monday–Friday, first 8 hours)
- Overtime 1: £28.70 per hour (after 8 hours Monday–Friday & first 6 hours on Saturday)
- Overtime 2: £33.35 per hour (after 6 hours on Saturday & all day Sunday)

- Pool van available from the client’s workshop to site (for candidates based in Widnes, Runcorn, and South Liverpool)
Role Overview
The successful candidate will carry out a range of pipefitting duties on site, working with pipework from ½” to 6”. The role involves measuring, preparation, and installation, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring field-fit pipework lengths
- Cutting and preparing pipes for welding
- Accurately communicating measurements and technical information
- Installing pipe supports
- Carrying out installation work, including:
- Bolting pipe spools
- Installing valves and in-line components
Requirements
- Valid CCNSG / CSCS / EMSS / SCATS card
- Proven experience in pipefitting and site installation work
- Ability to read drawings and communicate measurements clearly
Desirable
- MEWPs certification
- FLT licence
