The role
The day to day activities will be the welding for thick plate
Pay/Shifts/Perks
- Day Shift
- Hours (39 hour week)
- 06.45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday.
- 06:45 – 14:15 Friday
- Pay
- Basic (permanent): £17.36 per hour
- OT1: £26.04 per hour
- Sunday/Bank holiday: £34.72 per hour
You will need to pass the following weld test
- Our initial test will involve welding a 25mm thick plate
- Single Sided TIG root, 2nd and 3rd pass
- Welding the below test piece in the down hand position half way full with MAG
- Welding the below test piece in the vertical up position the remainder of the way with FCAW
