The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
As a Semi Skilled Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and complete assemblies in line with engineering drawings and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and construct complete mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings
- Work from general arrangement and detailed engineering drawings
- Ensure all components are correctly aligned using appropriate jigs and tools
- Monitor build quality and ensure all parts are fit for purpose
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Identify and report non-conforming or damaged parts to the supervisor
- Ensure all work is fully understood before commencing final assembly
- Complete builds within agreed timeframes and to required specifications
- Maintain accurate quality and production records
- Follow company procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am
- Option 2: 7:00am Start (Day shift hours to be confirmed at interview)
- Early finish on Fridays.
